With Adidas, Nike and Puma officially unveiling major parts of their 2026 national team collections, one thing is already clear: some of these jerseys are seriously good.
And let’s be honest, football shirts are no longer just for match days. From festivals to summer fits to everyday streetwear, jerseys have fully entered fashion culture.
So we thought it was the perfect time to break down the best 2026 World Cup jerseys so far. Honest takes only.
1. Mexico Home 2026 Jersey
Let’s start with our personal favorite.
Mexico absolutely came out swinging with this one. The shirt blends heritage, culture and creativity in a way few national team jerseys manage to do.
It feels bold without trying too hard, detailed without becoming messy and wearable far beyond football culture.
In our opinion, this is the cleanest jersey of the 2026 cycle so far.
If you only buy one football shirt this year, this should be on the shortlist.
2. Argentina Away 2026 Jersey

Second place goes to Argentina.
This away kit is one of the bravest designs we’ve seen. Strong colors, a less predictable direction and definitely not the easiest jersey to pull off.
But that is exactly why we rate it.
Anyone can wear a safe white tee. Pulling this off properly is different.
A proper statement piece.
3. Netherlands Home 2026 Jersey

We had to include our own.
Netherlands and orange simply belong together. You either love it or you don’t, but when done right it always hits.
The centered logo placement gives this shirt a clean modern look, while the orange keeps the national identity strong.
Expect to see this one all over festivals, terraces and summer streets.
4. Adidas Won This Round
As a real Nike head, it hurts to say it… but Adidas absolutely outdid themselves this time.
Their 2026 federation line up feels more creative, more daring and more connected to football heritage than most recent drops.
Mexico, Argentina and several others show that Adidas understood the assignment.
Sometimes you just have to give credit where it’s due.
5. Nike Still Knows How To Keep It Clean

Nike may not have had the loudest collection this time, but they still know how to deliver wearable shirts.
Especially for people who prefer cleaner aesthetics and easier styling, Nike kits remain strong picks.
The Netherlands shirt is a perfect example.
Sometimes less noise is better.
6. Are Football Jerseys Still Fashion in 2026?
Short answer: yes.
Long answer: more than ever.
Jerseys have become a genuine part of modern streetwear. Styled with denim, cargos, shorts or layered under jackets, they now sit somewhere between sport and fashion.
And unlike many trends, this one still feels alive.
If anything, 2026 might be one of the biggest years yet for football shirts outside stadiums.
