RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

This Return and Refund Policy applies to online purchases made through aqstorm.com, operated by A Quiet Storm.
Returns at a glance
- You have 14 days after receiving your order to tell us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase.
- After notifying us, you have another 14 days to send the products back.
- Return shipping costs are paid by the customer, unless the product is defective, damaged or incorrect.
- Sale items can be returned under the same conditions as full-price items.
- Products may be tried on as they would be in a physical store, but must not be worn beyond what is necessary to assess the product.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- Products must be returned to our address in Mijdrecht, the Netherlands.
This summary does not limit any statutory consumer rights. The complete conditions are set out below.
1. Statutory right of withdrawal
When you purchase a product online as a consumer, you generally have the right to withdraw from the purchase without giving a reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the product.
For orders containing multiple products delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins on the day you receive the final product from the order.
You may also withdraw from your purchase before the order has been delivered.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision within the withdrawal period through a clear statement. You can do this:
- through the online withdrawal function available on our website; or
- by emailing support@aqstorm.com.
Please include your order number and sufficient information for us to identify your order. You do not have to provide a reason for the return.
Simply refusing delivery or sending a product back without informing us may not be sufficient to exercise your right of withdrawal.
2. Returning your products
After informing us that you wish to withdraw from the purchase, you must send the products back within 14 days.

The return deadline is met when you send the products before the 14-day return period has expired.
Please package the products carefully. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service and keeping your proof of postage and tracking information until your refund has been completed.
Packages sent cash on delivery will not be accepted.
3. Condition of returned products
You may inspect and try on a product to the same extent as would reasonably be possible in a physical store.
Returned products should, where reasonably possible:
- be unworn beyond trying them on;
- be unwashed and unaltered;
- be free from stains, damage, strong odours, smoke, perfume, make-up or other signs of use;
- include the original labels, tags, accessories and packaging; and
- be packaged securely for the return journey.
Removing packaging or trying on a product does not automatically remove your right of withdrawal.
You are only responsible for a reduction in the value of a product when that reduction results from handling or use beyond what was necessary to determine the product’s nature, characteristics and fit.
Where legally permitted, we may deduct an amount corresponding to that reduction in value from the refund. We will explain any such deduction to you.
4. Sale items and promotional products
Sale items and products purchased with a discount code may be returned under the same statutory conditions as full-price products.
A discount, promotion or reduced price does not remove your statutory right of withdrawal.
Where a promotion involved receiving a free or discounted product as part of an order, all products forming part of that promotion may need to be returned to receive a full refund. If you keep part of a promotional bundle, the refund may be recalculated based on the conditions of the promotion, provided those conditions were clearly communicated before purchase.
5. Products excluded from withdrawal
A product will only be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where an exclusion is permitted by applicable law and was clearly disclosed before purchase.
This may include, where applicable:
- products made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised;
- sealed products that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken; or
- other products expressly excluded by mandatory law.
A product is not excluded merely because it is part of a limited collection, drop, sale or pre-order.
Any product-specific exception will be clearly stated on the relevant product page before you place your order.
6. Return shipping costs and risk
The direct cost of returning a product because you have changed your mind is paid by you.
You are responsible for the return shipment until the package has been delivered to us. We therefore recommend using a tracked and, for higher-value orders, insured shipping method.
We are not responsible for a return that is lost or damaged in transit as a result of the shipping service selected by you, except where we arranged the return carrier or are otherwise responsible under applicable law.
Return shipping is free where the product was delivered defective, damaged or incorrect and the claim is covered by your statutory rights. Please contact us before returning such a product so that we can provide suitable instructions.
7. Refunds
When you validly withdraw from the entire purchase, we will refund:
- the purchase price of the returned products; and
- the original standard delivery costs paid for the order.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method than our least expensive standard delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional delivery charge.
When you return only part of an order, the original delivery costs are not refunded.
We will process the refund no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until:
- we have received the returned products; or
- you have provided evidence that the products were sent back,
whichever occurs first.
Refunds are made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless you expressly agree to another method. We do not charge a separate fee for processing the refund.
After we issue the refund, your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time before the amount appears in your account.
8. Incorrect, damaged or defective products
Please inspect your order after delivery.
Contact support@aqstorm.com as soon as reasonably possible if a product:
- is damaged on arrival;
- is defective;
- differs materially from its description; or
- is not the product you ordered.
Please include your order number, a description of the issue and, where useful, clear photographs.
Your statutory legal guarantee remains fully applicable. Depending on the circumstances, we may provide repair, replacement, price reduction or a refund as required by applicable law.
You will not be charged reasonable return costs for a valid claim concerning an incorrect, damaged or defective product.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, failure to follow care instructions or damage caused after delivery is not considered a product defect, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
9. Exchanges
Unless we expressly agree to arrange an exchange, returned products are processed as a refund.
To obtain another colour, size or product, you can place a new order. Product availability cannot be guaranteed while a return is being processed.
10. Cancelling an order before dispatch
Contact us as quickly as possible at support@aqstorm.com if you wish to cancel or change an order before dispatch.
We will try to assist, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or stopped once processing has started.
This does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal.
