SHIPPING POLICY

This Shipping Policy explains how orders placed through aqstorm.com are processed and delivered.
Shipping at a glance
- Orders are normally dispatched within 1–2 business days.
- Orders within the Netherlands are generally shipped with PostNL.
- International orders are generally shipped with DHL.
- Free standard shipping is available on qualifying orders of €75 or more.
- Available destinations, shipping costs and estimated delivery information are shown at checkout.
1. Order processing
Orders are normally processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days after successful payment.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Dutch public holidays.
Orders placed during weekends, public holidays, product launches, limited drops or especially busy periods may require additional processing time.
The processing period is the time required to prepare your order for shipment. It is separate from the carrier’s delivery time.
2. Pre-orders and products with a later shipping date
Pre-orders, made-to-order products or products with a specifically announced release date may have a different dispatch period.
The applicable estimated dispatch date will be stated on the relevant product page or communicated during checkout.
When an order contains both immediately available products and pre-order products, the entire order may be shipped together unless we state otherwise.
3. Shipping carriers
We generally use:
- PostNL for deliveries within the Netherlands; and
- DHL for deliveries outside the Netherlands.
We may use another suitable carrier or delivery partner when reasonably necessary. The carrier used for your order may depend on the destination, package dimensions, availability and delivery service selected.
4. Shipping destinations
We ship to the destinations made available during checkout.
The availability of shipping to a particular country or region can change due to carrier restrictions, legal requirements, customs restrictions or operational circumstances.
Being able to access our website does not necessarily mean that delivery is available to every country.
5. Shipping costs and free shipping
The applicable shipping costs are displayed during checkout before you place your order.
Free standard shipping is available on orders with a product subtotal of €75 or more after discounts, unless a destination-specific restriction or different condition is clearly displayed during checkout.
The free-shipping threshold does not include shipping charges, import duties, taxes or other additional charges.
Express delivery, premium delivery or another upgraded shipping method may remain subject to an additional charge.
6. Delivery estimates
The estimated delivery information for your destination is displayed during checkout where available.
Delivery estimates begin after the order has been dispatched. They are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates, unless we have expressly agreed to a fixed delivery date.
Delivery may take longer because of:
- carrier disruption;
- customs processing;
- severe weather;
- public holidays;
- peak shopping periods;
- incorrect or incomplete address information;
- remote delivery locations; or
- circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will inform you when we become aware of a material delay affecting your order.
Where no delivery period has been agreed, we will deliver within the period required by applicable consumer law.
7. Tracking
Where tracking is available, you will receive a shipping confirmation containing tracking information after your order has been handed to the carrier.
Tracking information may take some time to become active after the shipping label has been created.
Carrier tracking information is provided by the relevant carrier and may occasionally be delayed or inaccurate.
8. Delivery address
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Please contact support@aqstorm.com immediately if you notice an error. We will try to correct the address before dispatch, but changes cannot be guaranteed once processing has started.
Additional costs reasonably caused by an incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible address may be charged to you where permitted by law.
We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer, without limiting any rights the customer may have under mandatory law.
9. Risk during delivery
For consumer purchases, the risk of loss or damage remains with A Quiet Storm until the order has been physically received by you or by a third party designated by you, other than the carrier.
When you independently instruct a carrier that was not offered by us, the risk may transfer when the products are handed to that carrier, as permitted by law.
10. Lost, damaged or missing deliveries
Contact support@aqstorm.com if:
- the tracking information has not changed for an unusually long period;
- your package arrives visibly damaged;
- products are missing from the package; or
- tracking shows the package as delivered but you have not received it.
Please include your order number and relevant information or photographs.
Do not dispose of damaged packaging before we have reviewed the issue, as the carrier may require photographs or inspection.
We will investigate the delivery with the carrier and provide an appropriate solution in accordance with your statutory rights.
11. Customs, duties and import taxes
Orders delivered outside the European Union may be subject to import duties, customs charges, local taxes or handling fees.
Unless checkout expressly states that these charges are included, such charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee and are payable by the recipient.
A Quiet Storm does not control the amount charged by customs authorities.
Refusing to pay applicable import charges may result in the package being returned. Where legally permitted, actual return charges or non-refundable customs costs caused by the refusal may be deducted from the refund.
12. Split shipments
In some cases, an order may be delivered in more than one package. You will not be charged additional standard shipping costs when we decide to split an order.
